Wide-gap plate heat exchanger

A heat exchanger developed for the heating, cooling, and heat exchange of fluids containing fibers and particles.

Wide gap plate heat exchangers were developed for the purpose of heat exchange involving fluids containing fibers or coarse particles, as well as fluids with high viscosity. They accommodate fluids that tend to clog in conventional "plate" or other types of heat exchangers with wide gap channels (flow paths) of 16mm or 22mm. This design prevents blockages within the unit even with fluids that are prone to clogging, significantly reducing the frequency of cleaning. Additionally, the unique wavy plates generate advanced turbulence in the fluid, dramatically enhancing heat exchange efficiency.

Double-wall plate heat exchanger

Double-wall is used in processes where dangerous reactions are expected when two fluids that exchange heat mix, as well as in applications like bioplants where mixing accidents could have adverse effects on the external environment. In the event that cracks or pinholes occur in the plates, the fluid will flow out through the gap of the pair-plate to the outside of the heat exchanger, preventing the mixing of the two fluids and allowing for safe operation. Plate-type heat exchanger TL3

Suitable for general heating and cooling applications.

A plate-type heat exchanger consists of a pack of corrugated metal plates with openings through which two fluids pass, allowing heat to be transferred between the corrugated metal plates. The plate pack is incorporated between a fixed frame plate and a movable pressure plate, and it is compressed by tightening bolts. Gaskets attached to the plates seal the spaces between the plates and alternately guide the fluids within the channels. The number of plates is determined by flow rate, temperature conditions, fluid characteristics, and pressure loss.
